7mm Loco Kits and Wickham Trolleys

Lady Margaret 2-4-0T

GWR 1308 'Lady Margaret' 2-4-0T

'Lady Margaret' 2-4-0T suitable for 'O' gauge or 7mm fine scale.
Kit models loco as rebuilt by the GWR in 1929 with a GWR cab and GWR fittings.  Following this rebuild the engine worked on the Culm Valley Railway for a while and then went to Oswestry to work on the Tanet Valley Railway.  Withdrawn in 1948.

Kit is etched in nickel silver for the chassis and brass for the body, tank and cab sides come with raised rivet detail. Includes whitemetal and lost wax brass castings, handrail knobs, name and number plates and a photograph of the prototype.

Type 17 Type 27 Wickham trailer Plate Trolley

Wickham Type 17 Gangers Trolley

The common motorised trolley built from 1936 and used by the big four.  Many lasted into BR and were modified to have a roof and enclosed rear.
Kit makes a rolling model using bearings and wheels supplied. Model can be motorised using a 26mm Spud or a 4mm motor and gearbox, both options require input from the modeller.  Kit can be assembled for standard or narrow gauge.  Kit is etched in nickel silver.

7mm kit  £22.50.
To complete needs solder/adhesive, paint and transfers.  If motorising needs Spud and replacement axles (available from N Brass) or motor, gears, gearbox, axles and pickups.

Wickham Type 27 Gangers Trolley

The common motorised trolley seen all over BR zipping along the tracks or parked up on a couple of rails at right angles to the running lines.  Built from 1948 until 1993.
Kit makes a rolling model using bearings and wheels supplied. Model can be motorised using a 26mm Spud or a 4mm motor and gearbox, both options require input from the modeller. Kit can be assembled for standard or narrow gauge.  Kit is etched in nickel silver.

Wickham Trolley Trailer

A Type 27 trailer, can also be used behind the Type 17 by reducing the width.  Once on site the trailer became a heavy weight trolley powered by men pushing.
Kit is etched in nickel silver and includes wheels and bearings.

Platelayer's Hand Trolley

A timber hand trolley as seen over all the railways.  These are the wheelbarrows of the track gang.
Kit is etched in nickel silver and includes wheels.
